Guinea midfielder Naby Keita has hailed the work ethic of Liverpool teammate and Egypt star Mohamed Salah.
Keita has settled well into life at Anfield, though he has missed their last three matches due to injury.
The 23-year-old, who joined the Reds from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, will be hoping to become as influential as Salah.
The Pharaohs star recently became the fastest player to reach the 50-goal mark for Liverpool, and continued his resurgent form this past weekend with another strike in a 4-1 win over Cardiff City.
Part of the secret behind Salah’s success is his work ethic, as revealed by Keita.
“He [Salah] trains very, very hard”, Keita told the club’s official website. “Every time I go to the gym, he is there.
"What is happening at the moment is not just luck, it’s all earned. It’s because he has been training so hard.”
Salah will hope to continue his form when Liverpool play away to Arsenal in a blockbuster Premier League clash on Saturday evening.
