Club Brugge will be out to extend their unbeaten start to the 2018-19 Belgium Pro League season to nine matches this weekend.

The defending champions, along with second-placed Genk, are yet to taste defeat after eight rounds of fixtures in Belgium's top-flight.

Brazilian forward Wesley scored a second-half hat-trick in a 4-0 win for Brugge away to Gent last weekend and the Blues and Black will be favourites against rivals Cercle Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Saturday evening.

Elsewhere, Anderlecht will be eager to bounce back following their surprise 3-0 defeat to second tier Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgium Cup earlier this week.

Furthermore, Waasland-Beveren will be hoping to register their first win of the season away to bottom of the log Royal Excel Mouscron.
