Hearts will be aiming to extend their unbeaten start to the campaign when they take on Livingston in the sixth round of the 2018-19 Scottish Premiership season this weekend.

The Jam Tarts have recorded five wins from five matches thus far and currently lead the way in the league by five points with an unblemished record.

"Good squad, good spirit, good tactics," said defender Michael Smith when asked why he thinks Hearts' have started the season so well.

"The manager has set us up really well for every game thus far and all the new boys that have come in have gelled really quickly which is probably surprising for most, but yes we have started well."

The best is yet to come from me, says hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu

Livingston currently occupy third spot on the log standings following three successive wins, they are level on 10 points with defending champions Celtic.

The Hoops will be desperate to get back to winning ways in the league when they take on Kilmarnock on Sunday. Brendan Rodgers troops were held to a surprise 0-0 draw by St. Mirren last time out.
