Genk stunned Anderlecht on match-day seven of the 2018/19 Belgian Pro League campaign over the weekend.
The first game of the weekend was played on Friday with defending champions Club Brugge beating Senegalese midfielder Bambo Diaby's Lokeren 2-1.
As a result, Club Brugge remained at the top of the league table, while Genk moved to second place with a 1-0 win over Anderlecht at home on Saturday.
Cameroonian defender Collins Fai was sent off as his side Standard Liege drew 0-0 with Sporting Charleroi, while KV Oostende drew 1-1 with Cercle Brugge.

On Sunday, Antwerp moved to third place after thumping Zulte-Waregem 5-1 at home, while Gent suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Sint-Truiden.
Match-day eight action will start on Friday with Nigerian defender Kingsley Madu's Zulte-Waregem hosting KV Kortrijk.
On Saturday, AS Eupen are set to take on KV Oostende, while Antwerp will be away to Sint-Truiden and Waasland-Beveren will take on Sporting Charleroi.
The biggest game of the weekend will be between Anderlecht and Standard Liege on Sunday, while Kenyan defender Aboud Omar's Cercle Brugge are expected to host Genk.
