Club Brugge are looking to extend their lead in the Belgian Pro League as the 2018/19 season action resumes this weekend.
The Blue-Black beat Zulte-Waregerem 5-2 before the current FIFA international break and club captain Ruud Vormer has urged his troops to continue their good form.
"We played a tremendous game and found our way to the net easily, but it's a pity we conceded two goals by the end of the game, though," Vormer said.
"It's also because we forgot to finish the game off entirely at some point. I'm happy with the win, of course, and our performance was definitely above par, particularly as a team. We now just have to keep working like this."
Match-day seven action will start on Friday with defending champions Club Brugge, who have in-form Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis on their books, hosting Lokeren.
Four games are set to be played on Saturday with Standard Liege locking horns with Sporting Charleroi, while Cercle Brugge will be away to KV Oostende.
Senegalese midfielder Paul Keita's Waasland-Beveren are scheduled to take on AS Eupen away.
The biggest game of the weekend will be between Genk and Zimbabwe international Knowledge Musona's Anderlecht.
On Sunday, Nigeria youth international Taiwo Awoniyi's Gent will be hoping to maintain their winning run when they face Sint-Truiden.
Lastly, Antwerp will welcome struggling Zulte-Waregem, and winless Royal Excel Mouscron are set to face Kortrijk.
