The 2018/19 Eredivisie season resumes after the international break with a full round of matches across September 15 and 16 this coming weekend.
Table-toppers and defending champions PSV Eindhoven will be in action at 18h30 CAT on Saturday evening, as they head to the Cars Jeans Stadion to face Wilfried Kanon’s ADO Den Haag, while at the same time De Graafschap will host Kokou Mlapa’s VVV Venlo.
Moroccan stars Hakim Ziyech and Noussair Mazraoui will look to keep up their excellent form for AFC Ajax when they host Groningen (who have lost three of their four Eredivisie matches this season) in Amsterdam on Saturday night, at the same time that Willem II look to bounce back from a 6-1 hammering (at the hands of PSV) last time out when they host Jeffry Fortes’ Excelsior.
Sunday’s live presentation on Fox Sports 1 is the early kick-off (12h15 CAT) which sees Yannin Ayoub’s Feyenoord chase a fourth straight win when they head to AFAS Stadion in Alkmaar to face Fred Friday’s AZ, who have run out of steam after their flying start to the season.
Sunday afternoon’s matches feature NAC Breda and Fortuna Sittard face off in a relegation six-pointer, Oussama Tanane’s Utrecht play host Emmen and Heerenveen host Heracles at the Abe Lenstra Stadion, before the round wraps up with Thulani Serero’s Vitesse away to PEC Zwolle.
