High-flying Hearts of Midlothian FC have reinforced their defence with the signing of Clevid Dikamona.
The Congo-Brazzaville international has joined Hearts on a free transfer having parted ways with Greek Super League side Platanias at the end of last season.
Hearts, who are sitting at the top of the Scotish Premier League standings having collected 12 points from four games, made the announcement their official website.
A club statement read; "Hearts have bolstered their defence with the addition of centre-back Clevid Dikamona. The 28-year-old joins the Jambos as a free agent, penning a one-year deal with an option to extend."
"Born in France, the defender has four caps for Congo. He began his career with French side Caen before playing first-team football with Le Havre and Sedan."
"A spell at English side Dagenham & Redbridge saw him link up with current Jambo Jake Mulraney in 2015/16 before he returned to France with Ligue 2 side Bourg-Peronnas.
"Clevid spent last season at Greek Super League club Platanias before moving to Israeli outfit Bnei Sakhnin."
