Nigeria international Isaac Success is enjoying his return to English Premier League (EPL) side Watford FC.
The 22-year-old striker spent time with Spanish side Málaga CF last season, making nine appearances in La Liga and notching one assist in that period.
Success is pleased to return to Watford and feels the support of the fans from the stands.
“I felt so happy seeing the fans cheering me on, being there for me," Success told the club's official website.
Success was introduced in the 70th minute as Watford beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in an EPL match which was played at the Vicarage Road Stadium on Sunday. It was Watford's fourth successive win in the league.
Prior to the encounter against Tottenham, the former Granada forward netted for Watford as they beat English Championship side Reading 2-0 away in the 2018/19 EFL League Cup second-round game last week.
It was his first goal for the club since his header against Bournemouth at Vicarage Road in October 2016, having spent time out on loan since then, the young forward was pleased to be back on the score-sheet.
“I felt so great, I think you can tell from the celebration. My teammates as well who celebrated with me said they were so happy to get that first goal and we stuck to our game-plan, and in the end we were victorious," he said.
“That made me comfortable and relaxed, and helped me through the game. I'm happy to get my first 90 minutes of the season and hopefully, I can get more minutes.
“I think physically I'm better now, so I wasn't that tired after the 90 minutes. With the help of my teammates, we all pushed together and got the victory.”
