Arsenal head coach Unai Emery is confident that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will find his scoring boots sooner rather than later, as the Gunners gear up for a must-win clash against West Ham United at the Emirates this Saturday.
The Gabon international, who scored the club's first ever goal under Emery, failed to score in the club's opening two games of the 2018-19 English Premier League season as the North London outfit suffered successive defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.
Aubameyang was guilty of missing a gilt-edged chance in defeat away to the Blues, but despite the 29-year-old's failure to find the back of the net thus far, Emery is confident that will change.
"I am sure we are going to score if we create a lot of chances in the game," Emery said at a press conference on Thursday.
"Maybe the players cannot score three good chances in one match and on another day, I am sure they are going to do maybe the same chances in one match and score three. Aubameyang is a player who, in his career, has scored a lot and he is going to do that here also."
Aubameyang has scored 10 goals in 16 appearances for Arsenal since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in January.
