Kabaso Chongo scored a 84th minute equalizer as TP Mazembe came from behind to hold ES Sétif to a 1-1 draw at the Stade du 8-Mai-1945 on Friday evening.

The Algerians dominated much of the 2018 CAF Champions League Group B clash, but were made to rue several missed chances as Mazembe duly kept their unbeaten record intact.

Mazembe headed to Sétif having already sealed their place in the knockout stages and despite going a goal down, showed just why they are five-time CAFCL champions as Chongo prodded home late on.

The Black Eagles hit the front in the 59th minute through a wonder strike from Mohamed Islam Bakir who curled an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net.

Sétif, though, were unable to hold on as they now head to Algiers to take on MC Alger later this month - knowing all to well that the group could be wrapped up by this weekend.

The Ravens welcome Difaâ El Jadidi to Lubumbashi in their final game of the group stages.
