Polish cyclist Michał Kwiatkowski won the 2018 Tour de Pologne (Tour of Poland) on Friday by a margin of 15 seconds despite Simon Yates claiming stage 7 victory in an epic finish.

Kwiatkowski was among the favourites to don the yellow jersey on the final day and following successive stage wins on day 4 and 5 - and a third place finish yesterday - the 28-year-old held on to claim general classification victory.

The Team Sky rider is the first Polish cyclist to win the Tour of Poland since Rafał Majka four years ago. Defending champion Dylan Teuns of Belgium finished 27 seconds adrift in fifth place overall.

You can catch all the highlights from stage 7 on FOX Sports 2 later tonight.
