Cote d’Ivoirean midfielder Yaya Toure looks set to join Crystal Palace with the Eagles reportedly interested.
According to The Sun, Palace are interested in signing the former Manchester City midfielder and now free agent.
However, Palace may face competition from West Ham United who are now being managed by Manuel Pellegrini who had a good relationship with Toure when the pair were at the Citizens.
Toure has had a very lucrative career around Europe where he had a spell in Greece with Olympiacos for whom he played 29 games in which he scored three and assisted one.
The Elephants legend also played for KSK Beveren and AS Monaco, but it was at Barcelona where he really made his name as a top midfielder.
During his stay in Spain, he played 118 games for Barca and netted six and assisted eight goals, but was then sold to City in 2010 for a fee of around £27 million.
He would then become a club legend at City where he played 316 games, scored 79, assisted 50 and won many trophies.
Palace are keen to strengthen their squad this summer in order to make sure they have a much better start to their 2018/19 English Premier League campaign.
