The fourth bout of Africa Boxing 8 sees South African Leron ‘The Don’ Myles take on DRC’s Jackson ‘El Jaguar’ Masamba in a six-round International Light Heavyweight Contest at the Big Top Arena in Carnival City, Johannesburg, on Friday night, July 20.

Both fighters made the required weight limit of 79.38kg at the weigh-in on Thursday, July 19.

Myles is currently ranked 435 in the Light Heavyweight division and has had six career fights of which he has won six and drawn one. Currently unbeaten, his most recent bout was a knockout win over Moses Bila at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, South Africa in April 2018.

The 31-year-old Myles hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and had his first career fight in June 2014.

Mashamba is currently ranked 742 in the Light Heavyweight division and has had five career fights of which he has won none: L3 D2. His most recent bout was a draw against Alex Kabangu at Emerald Casino in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa in February 2018

The 27-year-old Mashamba hails from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic Of The Congo and had his first career fight in February 2010.

The Africa Boxing 8 event will get underway at 19h00 (CAT) with the undercard bout, but will be shown live on Fox Sports 2 and streamed live via the Facebook page (Fox Sports Africa) from 20h00 (CAT).
