The fourth bout of Africa Boxing 8 sees South African Bangile ‘Black Panther’ Nyangeni take on Malawian George ‘Panasonic’ Kandulo in a six-round International Minimum Flyweight Contest at the Big Top Arena in Carnival City, Johannesburg, on Friday night, July 20.
Both fighters made the required weight limit of 47.63kg at the weigh-in on Thursday, July 19.
Nyangeni is currently ranked 58 in the Minimum-weight division and has had six career fights with five wins and one loss. His most recent bout was a win over Mthobisi Nkosi at the Blairgowrie Recreation Centre in Johannesburg in April 2018.
The 24-year-old Nyangeni hails from the Eastern Cape, South Africa and had his first career fight in June 2016.
Kandulo is currently ranked 294 in the Flyweight division and has had seven career fights: W3 L2 D1. His most recent bout was a loss to Immanuel Joseph at The Dome, Swakopmund in December 2017.
The 25-year-old Kandulo hails from Blantyre, Malawi and had his first career fight in August 2016.
The Africa Boxing 8 event will get underway at 19h00 (CAT) with the undercard bout, but will be shown live on Fox Sports 2 and streamed live via the Facebook page (Fox Sports Africa) from 20h00 (CAT).
