Spanish ACB Liga side Basket Zaragoza have beefed up their squad with the signong of Heiko Schaffartzik ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The 34-year-old point guard has secured a move to Zaragoza from French LNB Pro A outfit Nanterre 92 on a free transfer.
Schaffartzik won the French Cup with Nanterre after beating Le Mans Sarthe Basket 79–96 in the final in April 2017.
The Germany international was named the French Basketball Cup Final MVP after scoring 24 points in the Final.
A Zaragoza club statement read (translated): "The Aragonese team has reached an agreement with the veteran player (1.83, 34 years) to be part of the team the next two seasons, becoming the second addition rojilla."
