The 2018 FIFA World Cup matchday 11 will see European giants England take on Central American side Panama at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium in the first game of the day.
England will look to secure their second win at the global tournament after defeating Tunisia 2-1 in their maiden Group G game in Volgograd on Monday. The 1966 World Cup winners will take on a wounded Panama side, who opened their group stage campaign with a 3-0 defeat to Belgium in Sochi on Monday.
Nicknamed Three Lions, England will look to their world class attackers Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford, while the Canal Men of Panama will be hoping that their inspirational goalkeeper Jaime Penedo and captain Felipe Baloy play an important role in helping the team stun their much-fancied opponents.
The encounter will be followed by a Group H
match between Asian giants Japan and African side Senegal at the Yekaterinburg Arena. The Samurai Blue of Japan recorded a 2-1 victory over Colombia in their first group match in Saransk on Tuesday, while Senegal’s Lions of Teranga beat Poland 2-1 in Moscow on the same day.
Japan’s senior players Shinji Kagawa and Shinji Okazaki will be key to the team's hopes of securing a victory against Senegal, who will look to influential attacker M’Baye Niang and vice-captain Sadio Mane for goals.
The last game of the day will feature European side Poland and South American giants Colombia in a Group H match which is scheduled to take place at the Kazan Arena.
Poland’s White and Reds are wounded after starting their World Cup campaign with a defeat to Senegal, while the Coffee Growers of Colombia will be searching for their first victory at the tournament after losing to Japan.
The White and Reds' dangermen are Robert Lewandowski and Grzegorz Krychowiak, who scored goal against Senegal, while the Coffee Growers have influential players such as Juan Quintero and Radamel Falcao in their squad.
