psv snap up gloster from germany's hannover

Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven have announced the signing of Chris Gloster.


The highly-rated defender has joined PSV from German Bundesliga Two club Hannover 96.


Gloster has been on the radar of the Dutch club for over a month after Hannover were relegated from the Bundesliga last season.

The 19-year-old player has now completed his move to the former Eredivisie champions.


Gloster, who hails from the USA, is delighted after joining one of the biggest clubs in Holland.


“It is a dream come true that I can sign with such a large club. I am ready for the new season,” Gloster said.

“I chose Europe because they give young players more opportunities here.


“In America, they look more at the experience and how strong you are,” he continued.


“If you’re good enough here, it doesn’t matter how old you are.”
