Arsenal stars Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac have been left out of the club’s squad which will face Newcastle United on Saturday.
The English giants explained that the players will miss the team’s opening 2019/20 Premier League clash because of “further security incidents”.
The two players were involved in a carjacking attempt by an armed gang in London, England two weeks ago.

According to the BBC, Arsenal revealed that they are working with police and “providing the players and their families with ongoing support”.
“The welfare of our players and their families is always a top priority,” the club added.
“We have taken this decision following discussion with the players and their representatives.

“We look forward to welcoming the players back to the squad as soon as possible.”
German playmaker Ozil and Bosnian left-back Kolasinac were left out of a friendly against French giants Lyon following the attempted carjacking.
However, they played for the team against Spanish champions FC Barcelona in a friendly match on Sunday.
