Danny Welbeck

The former Arsenal forward has joined the Hornets on a permanent deal after being released by the Gunners at the end of last season.


Welbeck scored 32 goals in 126 games for Arsenal, but his time at the Emirates was plagued by injury – limiting him to just 14 appearances across all competitions for the North London club last season.

The 28-year-old joined Arsenal from English Premier League rivals Manchester United in 2014, after 29 goals in 142 games for Manchester United with whom he won eight major titles.


Furthermore, Welbeck has scored 16 goals in 42 appearances for England, last appearing for the Three Lions last September.


Watford kick-off their English Premier League campaign at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
