Marc Marquez registered a seventh consecutive victory at the German MotoGP on Sunday, to extend his lead atop the 2019 championship standings.
The 26-year-old has now won five of the nine races this season as he continues his pursuit of a sixth MotoGP title. Marquez sits a massive 69 points clear of Andrea Dovizioso in second.

"The race went to plan, I was riding out in front and enjoying myself," said Marquez.
"At the end I was thinking about my brother. I am very happy with this victory and very happy to have the summer break in these conditions."
Marquez watched brother Alex win the Moto2 race, before leading from start to finish at Sachsenring for his 10th win at the venue.
The Honda racer won the 125cc in 2010 before claiming victory in the Moto2 category in 2011 and 2012. Marquez has continued his dominance in Germany, winning every MotoGP in the country since 2013.
