Ayoze Perez
Four-time EFL Championship title winners Newcastle United have sold Ayoze Perez to Leicester City.

The deal is reportedly worth £30 million ($37,7 million) and the Spanish attacker has signed a four-year deal with the English Premier League club.

Perez becomes Leicester's second signing ahead of the 2019/20 season, following the arrival of defender James Justin from reigning EFL League One champions Luton Town.

Newcastle announced the departure of the highly-rated attacker on their website:

A club statement read: "Newcastle United can confirm that Ayoze Perez has completed a move to Leicester City for an undisclosed fee after the Foxes activated his buy-out clause."

"The 25-year-old joined the Magpies from his hometown club CD Tenerife in June 2014 and scored on his first Premier League start against Tottenham that October."

"He made 195 appearances for United in all competitions, scoring 48 goals. Of those strikes, 33 came in the top flight, making him the club's ninth all-time leading Premier League goalscorer."

"Perez was a key part of the Sky Bet Championship title-winning side of 2016/17 and won the NUFC TV goal of the season award three times."

"Everybody at Newcastle United would like to thank him for his service, and wish him well for the future."
