The latest news reports suggest that striker Marcus Rashford is close to signing a new deal at Manchester United which would be worth more than £15 million-a-year and see him earn £300 000-a-week.
The 21-year-old has become hot property after a couple of sensational seasons following his debut under Louis van Gaal three years ago, and is now reported to be on the radar of Barcelona.
With that news breaking the Red Devils took immediate action and began increased negotiations to sign a new contract with the English international, stating that an official announcement will be made before flying to Australia for the club’s rep-season tour to Australia.
Although the contract does not make him the club’s top earner, Rashford will be right at the top end of United’s pay scale behind Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez.

In other transfer news at United, Romelu Lukaku looks set to move to Inter Milan in the Serie A after becoming second choice to Rashford.
This has also seen United make a move for Sevilla’s Ben Yedder, whose brace eliminated them from the Champions League back in March 2018. Apparently all is agreed in principal and it is only a matter of time before the Red Devils make the announcement.
