New Hibernian attacking midfielder Joe Newell is delighted after joining the Scottish Premier League (SPL) side on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old player moves from Rotherham United and featured 31 times last term for The Millers in a fiercely competitive English Football League (EFL) Championship.
Newell stated that a conversation with Hibernian head coach Paul Heckingbottom convinced him to move to Scotland.
“It’s a big decision for me to come up here and leave home but I’m really happy," Newell said.

“It was just the way he highlighted how he wants us to play, how he sees his team and the club progressing, his ambitions and how I fit into that.
“It got me straight away. It was really exciting.”
