Tom Schwarz is adamant Tyson Fury’s undefeated run is coming to an end when the pair collide at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on June 15 in a heavyweight boxing match.
The German, who himself holds an unblemished record, was plucked from obscurity to face the number one rated Ring Magazine heavyweight.
With fight night fast approaching, Schwarz is confident he can overcome the massive challenge sitting in front of him.
“This is what I’ve been working for since I was a kid. A fight in Las Vegas against Tyson Fury is a dream come true,” said Schwarz.
“While I appreciate Tyson as a great fighter and a sportsman, I am young and ambitious. I’m also in the top 15 of the world rankings.
“I‘ve won 24 fights. I’ve got nothing to lose. My 25th victory will come against Fury.”
Charlo open to facing world champion Alvarez in Mexico
Promoter Bob Arum also believes Schwarz has every intention of scoring the second big top division underdog win of the month, following Anthony Joshua’s surprise loss to Andy Ruiz last weekend.
“Tyson will be facing a tough, experienced and undefeated fighter in Tom Schwarz. He is coming to Las Vegas ready to shock the world,” said Arum.
