Norwich City have made their first signing of the transfer window with Patrick Roberts joining the club on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.
Roberts signed a new two-year contract extension with City, keeping him at the club until 2022 before making the loan move to the 2018/19 Championship winners.

The 22-year-old spent last season on-loan at Spanish club Girona, making 19 appearances in LaLiga as the club ultimately suffered relegation back to the second division.
Prior to his time in Spain, Roberts spent two-and-a-half seasons on loan at Celtic where he scored 18 goals in 79 appearances, helping the Hoops to seven trophies.
Roberts said: "The manager was very enthusiastic when he spoke to me. He really enjoys the way I play and that's a big boost of confidence for me.
“I’ve seen a bit of Norwich and they look really good so I’m very happy to be joining a side with a bit of momentum off the back of winning the Championship."
