Aston Villa beat Derby County 2-1 in the Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium on Monday to win promotion back to the English Premier League.
Villa join Championship winners Norwich City and Sheffield United in winning promotion to England's top-flight for the 2019/20 season.
Abraham underlines Terry's influence
Having come up short at this exact stage one year ago, the Villans blasted out of the blocks in search of an early goal in England's capital.
Their persistence paid off in the 44th minute as Anwar El-Ghazi nodded home a pin-point cross from Ahmed Elmohamady.
Villa doubled their lead just short of the hour mark. El-Ghazi's deflected effort looped into the penalty area and looked a straight-forward catch for Derby goalkeeper Kelle Roos.
The shot-stopper, though, misjudged the flight of the ball, allowing John McGinn to swoop in between shot-stopper and defender, and duly fumble the ball home.
Derby made for a nervy finish as Martyn Waghorn pulled a goal back for the Rams in the 81st minute. Jack Marriott's strike deflected off his strike-parter and into the corner of the net to set up a tense finale.
Villa, though, were able to weather the storm as they booked their ticket back to the Premier League.
