Manchester City beat Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1 at Falmer Stadium on the final day of the 2018-19 English Premier League season on Sunday.
Goals from Sergio Aguero, Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez and İlkay Gündoğan steered the Citizens to victory, as they clinched back-to-back league titles.
Glenn Murray opened the scoring in Brighton, to give Liverpool fans some hope, but City scored twice either side of the break to end the season on 98 points and clinch their sixth top-flight crown.
Liverpool lost just once throughout the entire campaign, but finish agonisingly short of a first league crown in three decades as they finish the season a point behind City following a 2-0 win over Wolves at Anfield.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur complete the Uefa Champions League spots while Arsenal and Manchester United finish fifth and sixth respectively to qualify for the Europa League. The Red Devils finished a largely disappointing season with a 2-0 loss at home to already relegated Cardiff City.
Cardiff fall back into the English Championship alongside Fulham and Huddersfield Town who managed just three wins throughout the campaign.
