Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says they sent a message to their English Premier League (EPL) rivals with a victory over Watford.
The lethal forward scored the only goal of the match as the Gunners secured a 1-0 win over the Hornets at the Vicarage Road Stadium on Monday night.
The win took Arsenal to the fourth place on the league standings with five matches left.
"We are really happy, it was a tough game and at the end we suffered a bit but we did the job and that was important today. It's good," Aubameyang said.
"I think it is a good sign from the team to send to other teams that we are here, present and confident.
It was Arsenal's second win in their last seven league matches on the road.
"And we want to be in the top four so it's great to go home with the three points," the Gabon captain continued.
"Yes, finally! We suffered a lot playing away but today we fought and it was good from the team and that's why we got the three points.
