Fox Sports Africa boasts yet another crammed week of live action, ranging from football all around the world to baseball and basketball, as well as cycling’s Tour of Basque Country and the next round of the 2018/19 Formula E season. All times CAT.
The first live action on Fox Sports 1 this week comes from the Belgian Pro League, with Club Brugge v Standard Liege live from 20h25 tonight, while on Tuesday night the focus switches to basketball with live coverage of the EuroCup final between Valencia and Alba Berlin from 20h20.
A few hours later on Fox Sports 1 there will be live action from the Major Soccer League, as DC United take on Montreal at 02h00 on Wednesday, followed by Colorado Rapids v Seattle just over a day later at 03h00 on Thursday.
Heading into the weekend, Fox Sports 1 continues to focus on football: Friday night features another top-flight game from Belgium (Standard Liege v Anderlecht at 20h25) followed by Chicago Fire v Vancouver Whitecaps from the MLS at 02h30 on Saturday morning.
Fox Sports 1 then features two live EFL Championship matches on Saturday afternoon/early evening – Sheffield United v Millwall at 15h55 and Leeds United Sheffield Wednesday from 18h25 – followed by three MLS matches on Saturday night and into the early hours of Sunday: Houston Dynamo v San Jose Earthquakes, Minnesota v NYC and LA Galaxy v Philadelphia.
Yet more live football follows on Fox Sports 1 from Sunday into the new week, including Wigan Athletic v Norwich City (12h55), a massive Turkish Super Lig clash as Fenerbahce host Galatasaray (17h55), and Sporting Kansas City v NY Red Bulls in the early hours of Monday morning.
Fox Sports 2 will also have an early start with live sports this week, as the Tour of Basque Country Stage 1 is broadcast from 16h30 this afternoon, followed by regular season action from Major League Baseball, as the White Sox take on the Rays from 20h00.
Tuesday’s big live action on Fox Sports 2 wraps up the ‘March Madness’ as the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball championships are decided, with coverage from 03h00.
Fox Sports 2 continues its live coverage of the Tour of Basque Country and MLB action through the working week, before Saturday sees a switch to Formula E, with free practice, qualifying and the race all live through the morning and afternoon, followed by Stage 6 from the Basque Country at 16h30 and then back-to-back Eredivisie matches out of the Netherlands, starting with Ajax v Excelsior at 18h20.
Fox Sports 2’s live football action continues on Sunday with games from the Eredivisie and Belgian Pro League, before wrapping up on Sunday evening with Valencia v Unicaja from Spain’s ACB Liga basketball competition at 19h30.
