Will Vanhaezebrouck's departure open the door for frustrated Musona?
Knowledge Musona could well be making a return to the Absa Premiership in the near future.
The Zimbabwe international, who enjoyed two successful spells at Kaizer Chiefs, has been linked with a move back to South Africa. According to the Citizen, Musona is open to a move back to the Amakhosi having struggled for game time this season.
The 28-year-old has found the back of the net on one single occasion in 10 appearances across all competitions this season, and last featured for Anderlecht in the league at the end of October.
The door, though, could open for Musona once more at the club following the sacking of Hein Vanhaezebrouck. The Belgium Pro League side decided to sack their coach after crashing out of the Europa League and seeing their league form spiral out of control.
Anderlecht haven't won a league match in a month and currently sit 11 points behind leaders Genk.
Musona joined the Belgian giants from KV Oostende in July.
