Fabrice Ondoa kept a clean sheet as Oostende humbled Lokeren

Round 18 of the 2018/19 Belgian Pro League saw Genk remain at the top of the standings despite drawing with Kortrijk over the weekend.

The first game of the weekend was between Waasland-Beveren and Club Brugge with the former securing a 2-1 win at home on Friday.

Tanzania captain Mbwana Samatta's Genk were held to a 1-1 draw by a stubborn Kortrijk side at home on Saturday.

Sint-Truiden also remained sixth on the league standings after playing to a 1-1 draw with a resilient Standard Liege side at home.

Cameroonian goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa kept a clean sheet as his side KV Oostende secured a 1-0 home win against Lokeren.

On Sunday, Gent returned to winning ways when they recorded 1-0 win over AS Eupen at home, while Anderlecht drew 1-1 with Sporting Charleroi at home.

Match-day 19 will see Charleroi taking on Gent at home on Friday, while the defending champions Club Brugge will face Kortrijk away on Saturday.

Antwerp will be keen to cement their place on second spot when they host Waasland-Beveren on Saturday, while Genk will play host to Oostende on Sunday.
